Abstract:
A buckle assembly (1) has two buckle potions (10, 20), each having a base body (11, 21) with a fastening hook (13, 23) and a fastening recess (12, 22), and a magnet (30) connected to the interior surface (111, 211). The buckle portions (10, 20) are configured such that placing the interior surface (111, 211) of one buckle portion (10, 20) against the interior surface (211, 111) of the other buckle portion (20, 10) causes the magnets (30) to engage each other and the fastening hook (13, 23) of each buckle portion (10, 20) to enter the fastening recess (12, 22) of the other buckle portion (20, 10), to lock the two buckle portions (10, 20) together and prevent disengagement under tension in opposing directions parallel to a longitudinal extent of the buckle assembly (1). There is a fastening tenon (16, 26) connected to the base body (11, 21) and extending into the fastening recess (12, 22) on each of the buckle portions (10, 20). The fastening hooks (13, 23) engage a respective one of the fastening tenons (16, 26) as the fastening hooks (13, 23) enter the fastening recesses (12, 22) to lock the two buckle portions (10, 20) together.
