Abstract:
A stator (1) has a structure in which a pair of magnetic poles is positioned on opposite sides of a rotation axis (O1) therebetween. A needle (2) has a structure in which the direction of the movement axis (O2) is a direction orthogonal to the direction of the rotation axis (O1) and which comprises multiple main permanent magnets (5-1, 5-2) that are placed in a line in the direction of the movement axis (O2). The needle (2) is disposed near the stator (1) so that the stator (1)-side permanent magnet (1A) and the needle (2)-side magnetic bodies (5-1, 5-2, 6-1) are not in contact. Because all of the lines of magnetic force exiting from the magnetic poles (the pair of magnetic poles) of the stator (1) join with the lines of magnetic force of the needle (2)-side magnetic bodies (5-1, 5-2, 6-1), the energy of the permanent magnets can be effectively used. As a result, it is possible to provide a magnetic linear actuator for which positioning tolerance for the magnetic poles of the stator magnet and the needle magnets is large and the tolerance for the distance between the stator magnet and needle magnets that face each other is broad.
