Abstract:
A magnetic modular building block capable of emitting light, and a building block system are provided. The magnetic modular building block comprises a building block component comprising a building block (13). Two or more magnetic components (8) providing magnetic attraction and electric conductivity are disposed on the building block (13). Each of the magnetic components (8) are electroplated on a surface thereof with an electrically conductive metal layer. Magnetic components (8) are connected to each other via a conductive wire. Each of the magnetic components (8) further comprises an electrically-driven controller (6) used to control light and sound generation. The building block components can attach arbitrarily to each other by magnetic attraction, after being attached and connecting to power, the building block components can generate light and sound to provide an audio and visual effect.
