Abstract:
In order to calculate the B1 distribution with high accuracy in a short time and obtain a high-quality image, in RF shimming in which an electromagnetic wave is applied using an RF coil having a plurality of channels, the transmitting sensitivity distribution required to calculate the phase difference and amplitude ratio between the channels of an RF pulse to be applied to the channels is calculated using the absolute value of a difference image between a plurality of reconstructed images. The plurality of reconstructed images are obtained by executing an image capturing sequence after the application of a prepulse at different flip angles. The difference image is created with respect to a reference image that is, for example, an image obtained at a minimum flip angle. It is also possible to divide the obtained plurality of difference images by each other and create the transmitting sensitivity distribution from the result thereof.
