Abstract:
In the present invention, magnetosensitive parts (120a, 120b) include a plurality of unit magnetosensitive elements (124a, 124b) and a plurality of connection conductors (125a, 125b) that are each individually disposed between adjacent unit magnetosensitive elements (124a, 124b) and connect the plurality of unit magnetosensitive elements (124a, 124b) in series. Magnetosensitive areas (12a, 12b) where the magnetosensitive parts (120a, 120b) are formed on the surface of a magnetoresistive element (100) have a longitudinal direction (L) and a transverse direction (S). Both longitudinal-direction (L) ends of the magnetosensitive areas (12a, 12b) are widened toward the sides in the transverse direction (S) on which first lead electrodes (131a, 131b) and second lead electrodes (132a, 132b) are positioned so as to be wider than the longitudinal-direction (L) central parts of the magnetosensitive areas (12a, 12b).
