Abstract:
Provided is a magnetic sensor having enhanced accuracy or reliability. The magnetic sensor is equipped with a first magnetism detection element that outputs a first detection signal, a second magnetism resistance detection element that outputs a second detection signal, and a detection circuit into which first and section signals are input. The detection circuit is configured so as to correct the first signal for each (1/16n) period interval of the first signal, n being a natural number. Through this configuration, the magnetic sensor exhibits high accuracy or high reliability, and thus is useful as, for example, a magnetic sensor used for vehicular steering angle detection or the like.
