Abstract:
This maintenance assistance method for an equipment element includes: a monitoring step (ST2) for monitoring the condition of an equipment element; a maintenance timing determination step (ST3) for determining the timing for maintenance of the equipment element on the basis of the monitoring result; and a procedure plan generation step (ST8) for generating a procedure plan for changing the equipment element which is attached to production equipment on the basis of the current arrangement information of the equipment element and the arrangement information for the production of a new product. In the procedure plan generation step (ST8), if the equipment element attached to the production equipment can also be used for the production of a new product but maintenance thereof will be due during production of the new product, then a procedure plan is generated for replacing said equipment element with another equipment element.
