Abstract:
The method according to the present invention is for maintenance of an X-ray irradiation unit fixed above a test object. An X-ray inspection device is provided with an entrance through which the test object can be carried in from the outside to the inside of the device, and a transportation part that transports, to an inspection site, the test object carried in through the entrance. The method includes: a support step for supporting the unit by a support device placed on the transportation part; a separation step for separating, from a prescribed portion, the unit supported by the support device in the support step; a movement step for moving, on the transportation part to the entrance, the support device supporting the unit separated from the prescribed portion in the separation step; and a carrying-out step for carrying out, through the entrance, the unit supported by the support device moved to the entrance in the movement step.
