Abstract:
This makeup assistance device (100) has: a position acquisition unit (230) for acquiring the relative position of a prescribed indicator with respect to the face; a contact assessment unit (240) for assessing whether the indicator is contacting the face; a makeup selection unit (260) for selecting a makeup style to be applied to a facial image taken the face, the selection being made on the basis of a contact position which is the relative position at the time at which the indicator was assessed as contacting the face; and a makeup presentation unit (270) for generating a simulation image obtained by superimposing onto the facial image a makeup image showing the condition produced when the selected makeup is applied.
