Title:
MALARIA VACCINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/059911
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a malaria vaccine exhibiting a higher protective effect than that of conventional malaria vaccines. The present invention was perfected due to the discovery that, after a recombinant virus other than a baculovirus that includes a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of a malaria antigen, plasmid DNA that has a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of this malaria antigen introduced thereto, or a protein that has an amino acid sequence of this malaria antigen is administered to a patient, administering to the patient a recombinant baculovirus that includes a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of this malaria antigen and a gene encoding an amino acid sequence of DAF results in a high protective effect being exhibited.
