Abstract:
Disclosed is a male terminal having a novel structure with which it is possible to reduce manufacturing cost while preventing an increase in conductor resistance. A male terminal 10 comprises: a plurality of plate portions 12, 14 made of metal; a plurality of recessed portions 18, 20 respectively provided for the plurality of plate portions 12, 14 and each extending from a distal-end portion toward a proximal-end portion of the plate portions 12, 14 in an arc-shaped cross-sectional shape; a tubular contact portion 28 provided by combining the plurality of recessed portions 18, 20; and a conductive connection portion 30 provided by combining the proximal-end portions of the plurality of plate portions 12, 14.
