Abstract:
A BMU 31 for managing an electricity storage cell 30A comprises a current sensor 33 that measures the charge/discharge current of the electricity storage cell 30A, a first communication unit 36 that communicates with a vehicle 3, and a management unit 37, wherein the management unit 37 performs: determination processing (S105) for detecting, by the current sensor 33, a pulse pattern 25 forming in the charge/discharge current of the electricity storage cell 30A and determining whether or not the detected pulse pattern 25 matches a predetermined pattern; and communication processing (S106) for communicating with the vehicle 3 via the first communication unit 36 when it is determined in the determination processing that the match is successful.
