Abstract:
A management device (10) is provided with: an editing unit (11) that causes a shop to edit product pages used by said shop to sell products and assign genre names to the product pages; a presentation unit (12) that retrieves a result page that matches a query inputted by a customer from the edited product pages and presents the result page to the customer; a registration unit (13) that registers a character string that is included in the query in a page history that is associated with the result page when the product is purchased by the customer via the presented result page; and a calculation unit (14) that calculates a parameter that indicates whether the assignment of a genre name to a result page is appropriate on the basis of the frequency with which the genre name assigned to the result page associated with the page history is registered in the page history.
