Abstract:
Provided is a management device for managing a parallel system which is for storing electric power and in which a plurality of series-connected cell groups are connected in parallel with one another, wherein a control unit (16) derives deviations of currents respectively flowing in the plurality of series-connected cell groups and uses the derived current deviations to calculate an upper limit value of the charging current or charging power of the entire parallel system or an upper limit value of the discharging current or discharging power of the entire parallel system. The control unit (16) adjusts the upper limit value by multiplying the upper limit value by a coefficient α (0≤α≤1) in accordance with a condition under which the current deviations were derived.
