A management system of the present invention, which manages the acquisition of information regarding a plurality of resources, is constructed from a plurality of information acquisition devices that acquire information from the plurality of resources on the basis of information acquisition instructions. The management system stores information designating resource groups, which are combinations of a plurality of resources from which information is acquired at the same time. The management system sends an information acquisition instruction specifying the timing for acquiring information from the resources in a given resource group to each of the plurality of information acquisition devices that acquire information from the plurality of resources in the given resource group so that the information obtained from the plurality of resources in the given resource group is information from approximately the same time. The information acquisition devices receive the information acquisition instruction and can acquire resource information in the given resource group on the basis of the information acquisition instruction.
