Title:
MANUFACTURING METHOD AND MANUFACTURING DEVICE FOR SECONDARY BATTERY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/187161
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for a secondary battery that are suitable for preventing a liquid leakage during a gas purging operation. This manufacturing method for a secondary battery is a manufacturing method for a secondary battery that includes: a first sealing step that is a step for housing a power-generating component inside a packaging body, which is created by layering packaging films together, and for sealing the packaging body at a first sealing part with the power-generating component being placed at a distance from at least a part of the first sealing part; a conditioning step in which conditioning of the power-generating component is performed; a hole-punching step in which a gas purging hole is created between the first sealing part and the power-generating component; and a second sealing step in which the gas purging hole is sealed. The hole-punching step includes a pressing step in which before the gas purging hole is created in the packaging body, the part where the gas purging hole is to be created in the packaging body is pressed from either side of the packaging body such that the layered packaging films are brought into close contact with each other.
