Abstract:
Provided are a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for a water-absorbing treatment material excellent in solidified strength of used granular bodies. A manufacturing device 1 is for manufacturing a water-absorbing treatment material 4 comprising a plurality of granular bodies 40 that absorb a liquid and adhere to each other, the device being provided with a granulator 10 and a pressurizer 20. The granulator 10 forms a substantially cylindrical granulated material which constitutes each granular body 40 by granulating a material to be granulated. The pressurizer 20 makes the length of the granulated material smaller by applying pressure, from the length direction of the granulated material, to the granulated material formed by the granulator 10.
