Abstract:
Provided are a diffraction grating sheet and a manufacturing method therefor that enable a reduction in the manufacturing time of window glass having a diffraction grating and enable an increase in the area of the window glass, and also provided is window glass that is capable of controlling the amount of transmitted infrared light depending on the incident angle of sunlight. A diffraction grating sheet (1) comprises: a transparent resin layer (10) having a first main surface (18) and a second main surface (19) which are parallel to one another; and a diffraction grating (20) comprising a plurality of mutually parallel grid lines (22) arranged at a specified pitch (Pp). The grid lines (22) comprise a thin film of a material having a different refractive index than the transparent resin layer (10) and are embedded in the transparent resin layer (10) in such a way that the grid lines (22) extend parallel in the lengthwise direction with respect to the first main surface (18) and the second main surface (19) of the transparent resin layer (10) and the surface of the thin film has an incline.
