Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a resin composition with which the separation of microfibrous cellulose from resin can be suppressed, the resin composition capable of forming a coating having exceptional adhesion to a substrate. The invention relates to a manufacturing method for a fibrous cellulose-containing coating, the method comprising: a step for mixing fibrous cellulose having a fiber width of no greater than 1000 nm and an organic onium; a step for mixing the fibrous cellulose mixture obtained in the mixing step with an organic solvent and a resin to obtain a resin composition; and a step for applying the resin composition onto a substrate. The fibrous cellulose has an anionic group. The anionic group content is at least 0.50 mmol/g. The fibrous cellulose content in the resin composition is at least 1% by mass.
