Abstract:
The present invention relates to: [1] a manufacturing method for a fine organic pigment having step 1 for blending a raw material organic pigment, a water-soluble inorganic salt, and a water-soluble organic solvent, and mixing the attained mixture, and step 2 for washing the mixture attained in step 1 using an aqueous solvent and filtering the mixture, the method including blending 0.8 to 8.0 parts by mass of a sulfonate dispersant with 100 parts by mass of the raw material organic pigment before or after the mixing performed in step 1 and before the filtration of step 2,; [2] a manufacturing method for a dispersion having step 3 in which dispersion processing is performed on a pigment mixture containing the fine organic pigment attained by the manufacturing method of [1], an organic solvent, and water; and [3] an ink manufacturing method having step 4 for blending the dispersion attained by the manufacturing method disclosed in [2] with at least one selected from water and an organic solvent.
