Abstract:

Disclosed in the present invention is a manufacturing method for a low-carbon nitrogen-containing austenitic stainless steel bar, sequentially comprising the following steps: smelting, electroslag remelting, and forging. In the electroslag remelting step, a steel ingot obtained in the smelting step is used as an electrode rod of an electroslag furnace, and remelting and crystallization are performed by using specific slag materials; in the forging step, the crystallized steel ingot is forged into a material in a specific forging mode; the specific slag materials comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 65%-70% of CaF 2, 15%-20% of Al 2O 3, 5%-10% of CaO and 2%-5% of MgO. The specific forging modes comprise upsetting and radial forging, wherein the upsetting comprises: the deformation per pass is less than 35%, the reduction per pass is 50-80 mm, the heating temperature per pass is 1130-1150°C, and a pass deformation mode is ellipse-ellipse-circle. By using the method, a low-carbon high-strength nitrogen-containing austenitic stainless steel which is uniformly distributed in chemical components and tissues, high in purity and high in strength can be obtained.
