Abstract:
A map construction method, comprising: in a map construction process, monitoring the state of a positioning signal of a self-moving device; when the positioning signal is stable, directly performing a construction operation of an initial map in a quick and accurate manner according to the positioning signal and attitude information; and when the positioning signal is unstable, extracting environmental features from an environmental image of an advancing direction of the self-moving device at the current moment, and performing map construction according to the environmental features and the attitude information of the self-moving device, so as to increase environmental features in a map.
