Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a map creation method and apparatus. In the method, firstly, environment data collected by a mobile device for a target area is acquired; then the environment data is classified to obtain at least one data set comprising environment data corresponding to a same type of pavement elements; on the basis of three-dimensional space coordinates corresponding to the environment data comprised in each data set, a confidence coefficient respectively corresponding to each data set is determined; and on the basis of the confidence coefficient respectively corresponding to each data set, a high-precision map is created. According to the solution provided in embodiments of the present disclosure, a high-precision map can be created, thereby solving the problem in the prior art of low precision of created maps. Moreover, according to the solution provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, a high-performance mobile device is not required, such that a high-precision map can be acquired with reduced cost, and the application range is wide.
