Abstract:
In this map display control device (10), a specific feature storage unit (11) stores a specific feature specified by a user, and a map data acquisition unit (12) acquires map data including information about the specific feature. A section classification unit (13) carries out section classification processing in which a road included in the map data acquired by the map data acquisition unit (12) is classified into a specific-feature-viewable section where the specific feature is viewable and a specific-feature-non-viewable section where the specific feature is not viewable. A display control unit (14) uses the map data and the result of the section classification processing to display, on a display device (22), a map in which the specific-feature-viewable section and the specific-feature-non-viewable section of the road are represented using different display styles.
