Abstract:
Provided in the embodiments of the present description are a map generation method and apparatus, wherein the map generation method comprises: acquiring an initial map, which includes a target road, and determining a parking space corresponding to the target road in the initial map; determining an upright establishment position in the initial map according to the parking space and an upright establishment condition, wherein the upright establishment position is used for the disposition of a device for monitoring the parking state of the parking space; and marking the upright establishment position in the initial map, so as to obtain a target map, and performing three-dimensional reconstruction on the target map, so as to obtain a three-dimensional target map. A parking space is identified on a map, and an upright establishment position is determined according to an upright establishment condition and the position of the parking space, so as to automatically generate a three-dimensional map, which includes the upright establishment position, thereby avoiding manually adjusting the upright establishment position and re-generating the three-dimensional map, and thus improving the efficiency of the planning and designing of a parking system.
