Abstract:
A map server (3) comprises a chokepoint setting unit (G3), a delivery map generation unit (G4), and a delivery processing unit (G5). The chokepoint setting unit (G3) specifies on the basis of a stop point report transmitted from a vehicle, a chokepoint that is a point having a high possibility that driving assistance and vehicle control concerning automatic driving are stopped. The delivery map generation unit (G4) generates, as a map of an area related to the chokepoint, a delivery map including map information relatively more densely than normal areas that are other areas. Since a delivery map of the normal area does not include detailed map information, the overall data amount can be reduced.
