Title:
MARTENSITIC STAINLESS STEEL HAVING IMPROVED RESISTANCE TO SOFTENING AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/121063
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed in the present specification are a martensitic stainless steel and manufacturing method therefor, wherein the martensitic stainless steel is induced, through control over the alloy composition in terms of Cu, Nb, etc. and manufacturing method therefor, to form precipitates, such that the resistance thereof to softening is improved. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the martensitic stainless steel having an improved resistance to softening comprises, by weight %, 0.01-0.1% of C, 0.05-1.0% of Si, 0.05-1.0% of Mn, 11.0-14.0% of Cr, 0.05-1.0% of Ni, 0.5-2.0% of Cu, 0.03-0.08% of N, 0.02-0.5% of Nb, and the remainder of iron (Fe) and other unavoidable impurities, wherein Cu/Nb is 2-4, and the difference in hardness before and after a softening heat treatment may be greater than 0% and less than 10%.
