Abstract:
A martensitic stainless steel sheet comprising, in terms of percentage by mass, 0.100-0.170% of C, 0.30-0.60% of Si, 0.10-0.60% of Mn, 11.0-15.0% of Cr, 0.05-0.60% of Ni, 0.006-0.50% of Cu, 0.010-0.10% of V, no more than 0.05% of Al, 0.040 less than 0.060% of N, and 0.130-0.190% of C+1/2N, and γp as represented by equation (1) being at least 120, wherein, after the martensitic stainless steel sheet is quenched and tempered, the area ratio of δ ferrite (δFe) present in the thickness center of the steel sheet is less than 0.1% in a cross section along the thickness direction of the sheet.
