Abstract:
A mask for activating the brain according to the present invention is characterized by being impregnated with an aqueous lemon grass extract which is extracted by an extraction method including the step of stirring lemon grass with stirring blades while pulverizing the lemon grass and then performing the extraction under a reduced pressure while applying heat from the outside under the aforementioned pulverizing/stirring condition. The extraction is preferably carried out so that the lemon grass can be kept at a temperature of 20 to 50°C inclusive by performing the heating from the outside and the cooling by means of a heat of vaporization. The mask for activating the brain can be used as a mask for preventing/treating dementia, a mask for anti-stress purposes, a mask for preventing the secretion of cortisol or a mask for enhancing appetite.
