Abstract:
Provided is a mask that can satisfy stricter standards for collection and air permeability. The mask is provided with a mask main body (2) for covering a wearer's mouth and nose. The mask main body includes an inside sheet (12), an outside sheet (13), and filter sheets (11) formed from an electret nonwoven fabric and positioned between the inside sheet and the outside sheet. The filter sheets include first fibers having a fiber diameter of 1 µm or greater and less than 5 µm and second fibers having the fiber diameter of 5 µm or greater and less than 15 µm. The proportion of first fibers in the filter sheets is greater than the proportion of second fibers, and the proportion of first fibers and second fibers in the filter sheets is 90% or greater of the filter sheets. The fiber density of the filter sheets is 0.03 – 0.10 g/cm3.
