Abstract:
A massage device, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a seat frame that forms an area for accommodating at least a portion of the body of a user and forms the exterior of the massage device; at least one sensor provided in the seat frame; a massage module that provides a massage function to the at least a portion of the body of the user accommodated in the seat frame; and a processor that determines a position of the spine of the user on the basis of reciprocating movement of the massage module and controls, on the basis of the position of the spine, the operation of the massage module to reduce interference between the spine of the user and the massage module.
