Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a massage machine in which a pair of treatment elements operate in association with one another, and which provides treatment by one of the treatment elements holding the front of a shoulder of a person being treated, while the other treatment element presses the shoulder from above.
[Solution] This massage machine is provided with: a seat portion on which a person being treated sits; a backrest portion supporting the back of the person being treated; a base portion 210 provided in front of the backrest portion; and a shoulder treatment mechanism 200 which is attached to the base portion 210 and massages the shoulder of the person being treated. The shoulder treatment mechanism 200 is provided with a drive portion which is attached to the base portion 210 and has an output shaft 235 which rotates when energized, a first treatment element 261 which presses the shoulder of the person being treated from above, and a second treatment element 265. When viewed in the width direction of the backrest portion, the second treatment element 265 is positioned further forward than the first treatment element 261. The first treatment element 261 and the second treatment element 265 treat the shoulder of the person being treated in association with one another in such a way that a distance between the first treatment element 261 and the second treatment element 265 varies in accordance with the rotation of the output shaft 235.
