Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a massage machine that is provided with a liveliness to thereby visually entertain someone who is not using the massage machine or to attract customers as one of presentation techniques at a retail location. [Solution] This massage machine is characterized by comprising a seat unit, a backrest unit, a massage unit, a first outer shell unit located on the outer sides of the seat unit in the left-right direction, a second outer shell unit located on the outer sides of the backrest unit in the left-right direction, a drive mechanism for driving the first outer shell unit and the second outer shell unit, and a control unit, wherein the control unit has a massage mode and a presentation mode, the presentation mode involving a presentation action of moving between a second form, which is an initial position, and a first form in which the first outer shell unit and/or the second outer shell unit are moved at least in one of the front-back direction and/or the up-down direction, and/or the left-right direction relative to the initial position, the presentation action being executed through the driving by the drive mechanism.
