Abstract:
A basic structure, control method, control program and so on of a master communication apparatus used in a radio LAN system wherein slave communication apparatuses can effect, by use of a single radio telephone line, a radio telephone communication via a host station independently of a relay by the master communication apparatus and wherein there is no need of any special processing such as authentication on the side of the host station. The master communication apparatus (1) normally keeps transceiver means (5) ON and effects a location registration for a base station on the basis of an ID assigned to the transceiver means, thereby providing a line usage condition that allows a radio telephone communication with a telephone apparatus outside the network. When there occurs a cause of a control transfer to one of the slave communication apparatuses (2) in the line usage condition, the master communication apparatus (1) uses short distance radio communication means (4) to transmit therefrom a control transfer signal that allows the one slave communication apparatus, to which the control is to be transferred, to render its transceiver means ON so as to use the radio telephone line.
