Abstract:
This spring retainer has: a locking member that locks one end of a piston spring; and a rod-like member (82) one end of which abuts against the locking member to control the length of the piston spring and the other end of which is fixed to a piston (11). The rod-like member (82) is attached to a concave portion (140) of the piston (11). The concave portion (140) is provided with, in the vicinity of an opening peripheral portion (141) thereof, a projected portion (142) that is extruded toward the center in the radial direction of the concave portion (140) through plastic deformation and that is formed of the same member as the opening peripheral portion (141).
