Best mode for carrying out the invention

The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described

with reference to the accompanying drawings.

Figure 1 is a disassembled perspective view illustrating a mat for

washing hairs according to the present invention, Figure 2 is an enlarged view

illustrating an insertion groove of a mat for washing hairs according to the

present invention, Figure 3 is a perspective view illustrating a construction when

part of a lower mat of a mat for washing hairs according to the present invention

is folded according to the present invention, Figure 4 is a cut away perspective

view of a lower surface of an upper mat of a mat for washing hairs according to

the present invention, and Figure 5 is a partial perspective view illustrating an

upper mat of a mat for washing hairs according to the present invention.

An adhering part may be formed of a Velcro or a button which has been

generally used for an engagement with a thin cloth.

A zipper part 6 is provided at a lower surface of the upper mat 1 so that

a sponge 5 may be inputted into the interior of the cover 11 of the upper mat 1

or the inputted sponge may be taken out of the cover 11. A connection part 7

formed by sewing the upper mat 1 and the cover 11 of the lower mat 2 or

formed of the zipper part 6 is provided at the lower side, so that it is connected

with the lower mat 2 or is folded or separable.

The sponge 5 may be formed of a common sponge and may be

preferably formed of a high elastic sponge which has a high elastic force.

A melody unit 8 may be inputted into one side of the lower mat 2 having

the connection part 7 for an engagement with the upper mat 1. A channel

shaped insertion groove 9 is formed so as to prevent an escape of the melody

unit 8 and for an easier operation of the melody unit 8. A zipper part 6 is formed

at the center of the lower surface of the lower mat 2 for easily inserting or taking

out the sponge 5 into/from the interior of the cover 11.

The melody unit 10 may be formed of a known product, and the

insertion groove 9 is preferably formed at the upper surface of the lower mat 2

and may be formed of a hard plastic material so that the memory unit 8 can be

stably fixed.

The support part 10 includes a contact part 4 formed corresponding to

the adhesive part 4 of the upper mat 1 , and a zipper part 6 formed at one side

of the adhesive part 4 so as to insert or take out the sponge into/from the

interior of the cover 11. Here, the support part 10 is formed in a semi-circular

shape so as to implement a stable contact with the bent part 3 of the upper mat

1 and so as to prevent a slippery on the floor.

The operation of the present invention having the above construction

will be described. In the case that the upper pat 1 and the lower pat 2 are

engaged and folded or are separated by the connection part of the pat 30 for

washing hairs, the engaged upper mat 1 and lower pat 2 are disengaged and

arranged on the floor so that the bent part 3 of the upper mat 1 is laid down at a

boundary shoulder of a living room floor 100 and a boundary shoulder of a rest

room floor 200. The adhesive part 4 of the support 10 is placed opposite to the

adhesive part 4 formed at the lower surface of the bent part 3, so that the fixed

semicircular support part 10 is not escaped during the washing of hairs.

When the mat 30 for washing hairs is placed on the floor, it is preferred

to install in such a manner that the end part of the bent part 3 is placed nearest

the boundary part in a range that the end part of the same does not exceed the

boundary shoulder of the living room floor 100 and the rest room floor 200.

When the adhesive part 4 is engaged, it is adhered using a button or a Velcro.

In the case of the button, there may be some inconveniences. So, it is more

preferably to use the Velcro.

When the support part 10 is engaged with the bent part 3, they are

preferably placed inside the mat so that the zipper part 6 of the support part 10

is exposed to water, and the water may be flown into the interior of the support

part 10.

The melody unit 8 is fixedly inserted into the insertion groove part 9

formed at one side of the lower mat 2.

The melody 8 may be designed to output a certain melody that children

want to hear. The melody unit 8 is formed of a plurality of buttons, so that a

desired melody may be selected and outputted. The melodies that adults want

to hear may be added. The thickness of the insertion groove part 9 is

determined so that the insertion groove part 9 is inserted without any influences

by thickness when the sponge 5 is inserted into the cover 11. The insertion

groove part 9 is preferably formed in a channel shape, so that it is possible to

prevent an escape in a certain direction except for the direction that the melody

unit 8 is inserted.

The upper mat 1 , the lower mat 2, and the cover of the support part 10

are preferably made of a vinyl or artificial leather which has a high water

resistance force. In the case that the mat according to the present invention is

designed for kids, the mat may have a certain shape character that the kids like.

Figure 6 is a view illustrating a state that a user uses a mat for washing

hairs according to the present invention, Figure 7 is a perspective view

illustrating a state that a user uses a mat for washing hairs according to the

present invention, and Figure 8 is a front view illustrating a construction when a

mat for washing hairs is folded according to the present invention.

The person who needs hair washing is naturally laid down on the mat

according to the present invention so that the user's neck and waist do not feel

any inconvenience, whereby the user can feel good during the washing of hairs.

The height of the user's head is maintained slightly higher than the height of the

container at the restroom floor 200, with the container being adapted so as to

store water therein. A stable head washing operation may be obtained based on

the semicircular support part 10, while preventing any slippery with respect to

the living room floor 100, so that the user's clothes don't get wet during the

washing of hairs.

With the above construction, the person who washes other's hairs does

not need to bend waist because the height of the head of the person of which

hairs are to be washed is fixed at a proper height.

After the hair washing procedure is finished, the melody unit 9 is

detached in the reverse sequence, and the upper mat 1 is tilted in the direction

of the lower mat 2.

So, the upper mat 1 and the lower mat 2 may be stably folded and

unfolded when necessary. It is possible to store the mat according to the

present invention even at a limited small space.

When the mat 30 for washing hairs is wet after washing hairs, the mat

30 remains wet fn during the rainy season, the sponge 5 is separated from the

upper and lower mats 1 and 2 and the support part 10 using the zipper part 6 or

the upper and lower mats 1 and 2 are separated and dried under sunshine. At

usual time, the upper and lower mats 1 and 2 and the support part 10 may be

used when a person takes a rest.

Effects of the invention

The mat for washing hairs according to the present invention is

designed so that a weak person or a patient, and a kid, who are difficult to wash

their hairs by themselves, can easily wash their hairs in an indoor. The head

can be naturally bent based on the bent part and the support part provided at

the lower side of the bent part for thereby providing a user with a comfortable

posture. Since the bent part and the support part are fixed with each other by

the adhering part, so that a certain height can be achieved when a user washes

hairs, and the clothes don't get wet.

In addition, since the support part is formed in a semicircular shape, the

engagement with the bent part is easy, and any slippery on the floor can be

prevented for thereby achieving a stable support. In the case of kids, the

melody unit is installed for attracting attention, so that it is possible to prevent

any disturbance during the washing of hairs. When managing or storing the mat,

the upper and lower mats may be folded or separated using the connection part

which is adapted to connect the upper and lower mats, so that the mat can be

easily dried and can be easily stored in a limited small space.
