Abstract:
A mat (1, 4) having a gel-like heat medium (12) sealed in it and plural lines of filling chambers (10a, 40a) that are inflated by the pressure of the heat medium (12) and parallelly arranged adjacent to one another. The mat (1, 4) prevents bedsores and is able to simply and efficiently keep the body of a patient as a whole or part warm or cool.
