Abstract:

A material feeding apparatus for a rotary hearth furnace capable of uniformly and dispersedly feeding agglomerated materials, which tends to be pulverized, deformed, or adhered to each other into the rotary hearth furnace by using a flat belt conveyor, characterized in that a scraper for guiding the materials on the flat belt conveyor to the side face of the flat belt conveyor is installed aslant relative to the running direction of the flat belt conveyor. Desirably, the scraper being installed so as to guide the materials to both sides of the flat belt conveyor.
