Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a material warehouse exit method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium, applied to an intelligent warehousing system. The method comprises: receiving first notification information, the first notification information being used for indicating that short picking occurs in a first material corresponding to a warehouse exit order during warehouse exit; determining a warehouse exit strategy of the warehouse exit order according to the short picking quantity of the first material in the first notification information; and performing material warehouse exit processing on the basis of the warehouse exit strategy. In the technical solution of the embodiments of the present disclosure, a corresponding warehouse exit strategy can be determined in a targeted mode on the basis of a specific condition of short picking, so as to ensure that material warehouse exit can also be realized under the condition of short picking, thereby effectively avoiding the problem that an order cannot be completed when short picking occurs, and improving the flexibility and completion degree of order processing and the warehouse management efficiency.
