Abstract:
This matrix simplification device comprises: a vector conversion unit that converts an M-row 2-column matrix Y = [y1, y2] or a 2-row M-column matrix Y T = [y1, y2] T] into two M-dimensional vectors y1 and y2; and a low-rank approximation unit that calculates a singular value thresholding (SVT) of a weighted nuclear norm on the basis of the weighted nuclear norm of the matrix Y based on a weight w = [w 1, w2] T being represented by a group cusp star quasi-norm based on [y1 - Ry2, y1 + Ry2 and the weight w, where R is the rotation matrix on the image ImY, and thereby performs low-rank approximation of the matrix Y.
