Abstract:
A mattress assembly and furniture comprising same comprise: an air pocket unit; a flow channel providing a passage in which air flows, and allowing communication with the air pocket unit; a pump for causing the air to flow into the air pocket unit; a valve unit including at least one valve selectively opened/closed in order to regulate the flow of air in the flow channel and the air pocket unit; a sensor unit for sensing the pressure of the air pocket unit; and a controller for controlling the pump and the valve unit so that the hardness of the air pocket unit is set to one of a plurality of preset hardness levels by means of a signal from the outside.
