Abstract:
[Problem] In measurement work using a sensor installed on a distal end of a robot arm, it is necessary to synchronize the measurement operations of the sensor and the operations of the robot in order to improve the precision of the measurement in the measurement work. However, if a combination of a sensor and a robot is freely selected, it has not been easy to construct a measurement system for synchronizing the operations of the sensor and the robot. [Solution] Provided is a measurement system for measuring with a sensor installed on a robot, the measurement system comprising a synchronization processing unit that acquires a robot drive signal transmitted to the robot from a robot control unit which controls the robot, and that generates a trigger signal serving as a trigger to start measurement operation of the sensor if the robot drive signal includes a command signal for starting driving of the robot.
