Abstract:
A measurement system for three-dimensional distribution of BNCT-based thermal neutron flux inside a simulation water model. The measurement system mainly comprises a three-axis scanning table, a simulation water model, a neutron detector, and a remote controller. The neutron detector is connected to the three-axis scanning table, and a lithium glass scintillator is used as a detection end of the neutron detector. The three-axis scanning table can drive the lithium glass scintillator to extend into the interior of the simulation water model and achieves mobile scanning to measure the thermal neutron flux in the simulation water model in real time. The present invention is used to verify the overall design reliability of a BNCT apparatus. In addition, the present invention is also applicable to BNCT quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), thereby providing favorable guarantee for carrying out precise treatment.
