[Problem] To provide a technique that contributes to control such as that for preventing collision with peripheral objects. [Solution] According to one aspect of the present invention, a measurement system for measuring objects is provided. This measurement system comprises an image capturing device and a measurement device. The image capturing device is configured so as to be capable of capturing dynamic images of an object included in an angle of view. The measurement device comprises a distance acquisition unit, a reception unit, a patch setting unit, and a measurement unit. The distance acquisition unit is configured so as to acquire the distance to the object at a certain time. The reception unit is configured so as to receive the frames included in the dynamic image. The patch setting unit is configured so as to set, for each frame from the certain time and thereafter, a patch that includes at least a portion of the object. The measurement unit is configured so as to be capable of measuring the distance to the object at a desired time on the basis of the acquired distance and the rate of expansion of the patch set for each frame.
