Abstract:
A measuring device (10) is a device for scanning and measuring an object using pulsed light. The measuring device (10) is provided with a light emitting element (12), a light receiving portion (14), a movable mirror (16), and a control portion (18). The light emitting element (12) emits pulsed light. The light receiving portion (14) receives the pulsed light that has been reflected. The movable mirror (16) changes an emission direction of the pulsed light. The control portion (18) controls a light emission intensity of the light emitting element (12). In the measuring device (10), a reflecting surface of the movable mirror (16) oscillates with a sinusoidal waveform, thereby causing the emission direction of the pulsed light to move back and forth in a first direction (101). The control portion (18) causes pulsed light having a higher intensity than in a central region (114) including the center, in the first direction (101), of a scanning range, to be emitted in end portion regions (112) including ends, in the first direction (101), of the scanning range.
