Disclosed is a mechanical component wherein two components, at least one of which consists of a resin material, are bonded with anaerobic adhesive and reliability is enhanced. UV-treatment is performed on an adhesive surface (10), which is facing a bracket (6), of the outer circumferential surface (7a1) of a housing (7) consisting of a resin material, and then the housing (7) is bonded to the bracket (6) with anaerobic adhesive thus attaining adhesion strength of more than 8 N/mm2 per unit area therebetween. UV-treatment is performed by irradiating the adhesive surface (10) of the housing (7) with electromagnetic waves emitted from a light source (11) and passed through an infrared ray cut filter (12) which exhibits transmissivity of electromagnetic wave having a wavelength of 254 nm in the range of 50%-80%.
