Title:
MECHANICALLY CONNECTED MULTIPART OBJECTS WITH ELEMENTS FOR IMPROVING THE HEAT FLOW BETWEEN THE PARTS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO1989005430
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
The invention concerns a mechanically connected multipart object, in particular a vacuum apparatus component. In order to improve the heat flow between the contacting surfaces of individual parts, thin-layer, flexible, compressible elements made of one or more elements from subgroups V and VI of the periodic table or their alloys are provided. The elements are preferably in the form of single- or multilayer fine wovens made of wire, nonwovens with a felt-like structure, or meshes made of pressed, non-directional wire or films. A preferred field of application is in components for the first wall of fusion reactors.
