Abstract:
An electrical switch making and breaking mechanism, connected in an electrical switch loop and comprising: a pull rod (101), a contact support member (102), a connecting rod (103), a contact bridge (104) and a sliding block (105). The contact bridge is mounted on the sliding block; the connecting rod is rotatably connected to the sliding block; the contact bridge is positioned between the connecting rod and the sliding block; the contact support member is hollow, having internally a positioning hole; the contact support member is mounted over the sliding block and the contact bridge; the connecting rod is accommodated in the positioning hole of the contact support member; and the pull rod is connected to the connecting rod. The contact bridge is connected to an inlet terminal (205) and an outlet terminal (206) of the loop, making the loop. Operating the contact support member causes the contact bridge to separate from the inlet terminal and outlet terminal of the loop, breaking the loop; or, electrodynamic repulsion repels the contact bridge from the inlet terminal and outlet terminal of the loop, breaking the loop, while the contact support member maintains the loop in a broken position. Different components of the making and breaking mechanism execute ordinary making and breaking, non-short circuit fault breaking and short circuit fault breaking, allowing for upkeep of the mechanical strength, service life and breaking speed of the mechanism.
