Abstract:
The present invention provides a medical device with which a plurality of inspection images can be acquired, and the greatest possible cost reduction and the greatest possible suppression of the number of components are achieved, and a method for operating the same. This medical device illuminates a subject, and captures an image of reflected light from the subject. The medical device comprises: a light source (20) that emits illumination light including a first wavelength band; a light receiving part (15) that has a first channel for sensing a first sensing band; and an image control processor. The first sensing band is a wavelength band that does not overlap with the first wavelength band or overlaps up to a half-value wavelength, and the image control processor acquires at least one inspection image on the basis of light included in the first sensing band sensed by the first channel.
