Abstract:
This medical face guard (1) comprises: a frame (10) mounted on the head of a medical employee; a polarized light shield (20) that is attached to the frame (10) so as to cover at least an area in front of the eyes of the medical employee and that transmits only light in a prescribed polarization state; and a face shield (30) that is attached to the frame (10) so as to cover at least an area in front of the eyes of the medical employee, that is positioned farther forward than the polarized light shield (20) in the direction forward of the eyes, and that is transparent and has a low birefringence index.
